(I actually wrote this on 6 August. I procrastinate a lot so I am only posting it now... this means that more episodes have been released :D The following dramas are not ranked in order of preference but in an arbitrary fashion. No spoilers included.)
The Making of An Ordinary Woman
Only two episodes broadcasted so far. Broadcasting schedule is two episodes every Sunday night. It was first aired on 4th August so you probably have to wait a lot for the next episodes to be up. This dramas contains 10 episodes, each being 60 minutes long.
This drama depicts the life of a 39-year-old unmarried (but about to be married) female in a humorous tone. Realistic and relatable. It shows that even women her age still have fantasies. Half the drama is on her current life (which I prefer because it’s more amusing) and the other half is on her childhood (nostalgia~). +1 for Hsieh’s acting. (I recommend Dear Ex if you want to see more of her.)
The World Between Us
A drama with depth. It discusses subjects like evil, crime, law, psychology etc. Their focus is more on the aftermath of a crime (what effects a crime has on society etc.) and not the process of a crime. Different perspectives of looking into the same issue are provided. What I really enjoyed was that they didn’t have a “he was cured of his mental illness and lived happily ever after with his new girlfriend” bullshit. You don’t always get to find a new girlfriend or boyfriend, more so if you’re mentally ill in an Asian society. You may not be cured, but you can learn to live with it. This drama delivers more realistic expectations to patients of mental illnesses and doesn’t paint an unrealistic picture to the general public.
Pros:
(1) Aired by HBO so English subtitles are probably easy to find.
(2) Finished airing so you don’t have to wait for new episodes
(3) Achieved high viewership
(4) Achieved high ratings & feedback (IMDb score of 9.3 and Douban score of 9.5)

Before We Get Married
Do you love indulging in crappy Mary Sue dramas yet at the same time cannot fucking stand how retarded they are? This drama is the upgraded version. It has the aggressive and bossy male lead and the female lead that makes you grr and ugh. However, it has what other Mary Sue dramas don’t—a semblance of an attempt at creating depth :D Before We Get Married takes stabs at discussing the issues of relationships and how we communicate our love to each other. It also contains a plethora of very entertaining side hoes (supporting characters). I actually enjoy the side hoes’ stories more than the main couple, mostly because the leads are always arguing over similar issues.
English subtitles shouldn’t be too hard to find as I believe this aired in a few English-speaking countries too.
Some things that fit my taste:
(1) The male lead is 10/10 my style. He looks like GOT7’s Jinyoung. If you’re into the Korean oppa kinda look or the “puppy boy” look, he’ll probably fit your taste
(2) It has pretty good soundtrack. At least I’m enjoying most of their songs, especially those sung by Action Bii
(3) Side hoes.
